Our Story


Quality coffee starts with quality beans. Find out all about the coffee beans’ journey from farm to cup and find out why we chose specific origins and roast profiles. Our coffee is roasted in small batches on Vashon Island (Actually Maury Island) just off the coast of Seattle Washington with he goal of bringing out the best balance of roast development to highlight the subtle characteristics for each variety of beans. Not so long ago we were still figuring out the best ways of roasting and preparing the coffee ourselves. Over time, we’ve learned the ins and outs and are happy to share our findings and preferred flavor profiles. Galaxy Hops Fermented Geisha

Geisha is a variety of coffee tree that originated in the Gori Gesha forest of Ethiopia. It is highly sought after due to its unique flavor profile of floral and sweet notes. This Geisha has been processed in a highly unique way, the beans of this roast are actually fermented with Galaxy Hop infused mossto which is the juice made by compressing coffee cherries. Originating from Quindío Colombia produced on the small farm Finca Campo Hermoso.
